Sorry for the delay in updating. Eric was Mr. Mom last week while I took a break. Thank goodnes for such a wonderful husband!! Anyway we are back to normal and here is what we know.
Brysons cardioligist called us today. Bryson is needing an increased amount of oxygen, but as long as he is not showing any other signs of problems he is good. So his surgery will be scheduled for late September, early October. He told us that his filling pressures are high, not high enough to elimate surgery, but high enough that he is at increased risk for plural effusions, and extra chest tube drainage. So he told us to plan on being in the hospital on the longer side of things. These problems are very common for heart kids, his chances are just increased becasue of his increased filling pressures. His heart does not relax as much as it could when it is filling with blood. So nothing that we can't deal with. So until surgery calls us with a specific date this is all we know.
Thanks for checking on us

I know it's never easy to think about your child going in for OHS. It's actually a very sickening feeling, but I do hope that this will give him the lift he needs.
Given the dates of end of September to early October. . that will give him enough time to peacefully recover and get out of PCMC before the RSV period hits.
Thanks for EVERYTHING you guys do!
Praying for good things to come your way.
Heart Hugs,
Carolyn
